Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 23, 2026
Who we are
Tensor Pad is operated by [Company name] (“we”). For any privacy question or request, contact us at [contact email].
What we collect
Account data. When you sign up, our authentication provider (Clerk) stores your name, email address, and sign-in credentials. We receive your email address and a user id.
Your content. The notebooks and files you save to your projects, published notebook snapshots, and sharing grants you create.
Usage metrics. Coarse runtime-usage records — runtime start/stop times, durations, and the compute spec — used to operate and meter compute.
Billing data. Payments are processed by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer id, plan status, and credit usage; we never see or store your card details.
How compute works
Notebooks run in isolated, short-lived sandboxes on Modal that are destroyed when the runtime stops. We do not read your notebook contents except as technically required to execute the service.
Subprocessors
We rely on Clerk (authentication), Modal (compute sandboxes and workspace storage), Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting), and the jsDelivr CDN (static assets for notebook outputs).
Cookies
We use only the cookies Clerk sets to keep you signed in. We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.
Retention
We keep your data while your account is active. Usage and billing records are retained as required for accounting. Deleting your account — self-serve from the billing page — erases your notebooks, published copies, sharing grants, and access tokens.
Your rights
You can request access to, rectification of, erasure of, or an export of your personal data at any time by emailing [contact email]. Account deletion is self-serve from the billing page.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the effective date above and, for material changes, notify you by email.
