Terms of Service

Effective date: August 23, 2026

The service

Tensor Pad, operated by [Company name] (“we”), is a hosted Jupyter notebook service: you organize notebooks into projects, run them on on-demand CPU or GPU compute, and publish or share the results. These terms govern your use of the service.

Accounts and the beta

The service is currently in beta and access is invite-only. You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive workloads. In particular, no crypto-mining, no attempts to break out of or attack the compute sandboxes or other tenants, and no disrupting the service for others.

Compute is shared: runtimes are subject to fair-use limits, rate limits, and storage quotas. We may throttle, stop, or suspend workloads that exceed them.

Ephemeral compute and your data

Compute sessions are ephemeral: kernels, terminals, and runtime-installed packages can disappear at any time. Your notebooks and project files persist on workspace storage, but you are responsible for keeping your own backups of anything important.

Billing

Paid plans are billed as a subscription that includes a monthly credit allowance. Usage beyond the included credits is billed in arrears as an overage item on your next invoice. Prices and included credits are shown before you purchase; payments are processed by Stripe.

You can cancel or manage your subscription at any time from the billing page.

Termination

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time from the billing page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, in particular the acceptable-use rules.

Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, [Company name] is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from the service is capped at the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 100 if you paid nothing.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [Governing jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the effective date above shows the current version and material changes will be announced in advance. Questions: [contact email].
